The best coffee deserves better milk. And, we at Lani Trading Co. love our coffee, so selling nut-based milk to go with our coffee was an easy decision.
A few years back I remember trying soy milk in coffee and it tasted like… cardboard. Never again would I ruin a good coffee by adding soy. But that all changed last year when I got to try some amazing plant-based milk in a coffee at our local Wagas café. And recently we discovered this Aussie brand of nut milk being imported by one of our suppliers in Shanghai. And after a month of trialing the almond and soy milk, we decided to add MilkLab to our product range.
MilkLab is an Australian brand developed in response to the growing demand for plant-based alternatives to dairy. MilkLab produces a range of nut-based milk including soy, almond, coconut, and macadamia.
Milk Lab products are made with coffee in mind and don’t separate in tea or coffee like other plant-based milks. Made in collaboration with baristas from around the globe, MilkLab nut milks are great are perfect for coffee- they froth really well and can make flat whites or cappuccinos that have the same texture and appearance as dairy milk.
And the best thing, MilkLab products are suitable for vegetarians, vegans and for people who are lactose intolerant.
